Hathaway's diversified consumer experience includes being a principal
on the award-winning launch team for Anne Geddes, internationally-renowned

Publishing, including Dilbert and the World Wildlife Fund.

Shelli Ryan, Lead B2B Strategist
Shelli Ryan serves as lead business-to-business strategist for Hathaway
PR. Ryan oversees her own B2B technology agency, Ad Hoc Communication
Resources, in Omaha and San Francisco.
Ryan was recently named one of the "Top 40 Executives Under 40" by
her local Business Journal, "PR Professional of the Year" by
her state PRSA chapter, and winner of three American Marketing Association
awards. For over 18 years, she has been sought for marketing strategy,
branding, competitive research, and analyst and media relations, by
national and international technology and bioscience firms.
Shelli has developed PR strategies for high tech clients including
Nortel Networks, Sanmina-SCI Corp, Surewest Wireless, Sentryware, the
Madrid-based web security application providers, Trusted Network Technologies,
CrossCommerce, Peak VX Networks, Promatory Communications, Netformx,
Terayon Communications, Egix, West Corporation, Zend Technologies,
the Israeli-based developers of the PHP scripting language, and Nishan
Systems (now McDATA Systems), providers of real-time storage services,
IP solutions and internetworking capabilities.
After earning a technology degree, she began her career as a technical
writer for EDS, was a print reporter, and has provided leadership to
high tech clients in several vertical markets.
She has been responsible for managing international press efforts
in many regions including South America, the United Kingdom, South
Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Ryan managed the publicity
for the first shared ATM network in China and the first U.S. smart
card deployment.
A frequent author and speaker on business-to-business marketing, Shelli
earned her Master’s in Public Administration from the University
of Oklahoma and completed crisis communications training from Columbia
University.

Alan Frank, Technical Writer
Alan Frank serves as lead technical writer for Hathaway PR.
With 15 years of experience in technology publishing, Alan Frank has
served as an editor of several networking and communications-oriented
magazines, including LAN Technology magazine (where he established
and managed the reviews department and served as Sr. Reviews Editor),
Network Magazine (as Reviews Editor and Technical Editor), and Communication
Systems Design (as Executive Editor).
Subsequently, he established and served as CEO and principal analyst
of
Vision3G LLC, a research firm based in North Carolina focused on the
communications markets.

Lauren Heinemann, Hathaway PR Media Specialist
Lauren Heinemann serves as Media Specialist, coming on board at Hathaway
PR in 2006.
Lauren is responsible for media research, client databases, client
metrics analysis and handles the editorial calendar for many client
engagements. She also project manages all offsite events and is responsible
for media photography and graphics distribution.
Lauren supervises the San Francisco State Intern Program for Hathaway
PR.
Lauren graduated in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications
from San Francisco State University. She is an active member of both
PRSA and IABC.

Will Baker, Hathaway PR Media Specialist
Will Baker has lead our wine and entertainment programs since March
2006.
Will is responsible for managing all marketing relations for our winery
client’s 25-state distribution arm, all editorial and tasting
submissions programs and media placements.
Will also handles media research, client databases, client metrics
analysis and handles the editorial calendar for many client engagements.
Will’s background includes 5-star hotel operations in both Aspen
and San Francisco. He also recently served as promotions director and
production assistant with a local entertainment firm based in San Francisco.
Anthoney Santana, Creative Services
Anthoney Santana leads our Creative Services division and is responsible
for all graphics production, client newsletter production and advertising
layout.
He has been a design associate, fashion product development designer,
catalog designer, photographer and production artist with Goorin Brothers
and JD Fine & Company. He has also held sales and retail display
positions with Nieman Marcus,
Anthoney graduated from the Art Institute of California in San Francisco
in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.
